A BRIEF HISTORY OF WCS

Woodlawn Christian School opened its doors in September 1988, with the goal of providing quality Christian education for young people from the surrounding communities. The vision for this school had begun many years earlier, and as time passed, the Lord prepared numerous people to start the school. We give thanks to God and rejoice that Woodlawn Christian School continues to be blessed by the Lord, for we anticipate another great year of providing the best education available by highly qualified, trained, and degreed teachers, whom the Lord has called to teach in this setting. As the result of much prayer, dedication, and sacrifice on the part of the entire faculty and staff of Woodlawn Christian School and Woodlawn Baptist Church, we welcome you and your family as a part of this great ministry.
